CUSTOM TIEMPOS INSPIRED BY SERGIO RAMOS

They say “the devil is in the details,” and for us when it comes to fresh or rare footy gear we agree. Our up close and personal details feature serves to shed light on uniqueness and quality, it has always been a cornerstone of what we do at KTTP. It was with all this in mind that we decided to head to Chicago for MLS All Star and build an activation steeped in the details of one of the world’s most decorated soccer players, Sergio Ramos.

We asked three customizers to have a look at Sergio Ramos’ life, from the countless trophies to the tattoos and everything in between then go to town on a custom creation with the new Nike Tiempo Legend 7 as the canvas. @truebluecustoms, @dejesuscustomefootwear and @wallychamp were the artists tasked with the aforementioned. The results across the board were stellar, brilliant and uniquely Sergio Ramos.

Each pair of boots will on display at the center of a party in conjunction with Nice Kicks and Angelus on August 1st 12pm-6pm and August 2nd 12pm-4pm at 1858 W Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 60622. For more information see flyer below.

THE NIKE TIEMPO LEGEND 7

Tiempo’s have always been the foundation from which Nike soccer has sprouted to far-reaching and wild tech-driven heights. Through the flash and panache, the Tiempo has remained a beautifully nonsense boot in its quality via simplicity and attention to detail. More so the players that wear them tend to make the exceptional look easy. That was the ethos for the creation of the new Tiempo Legend 7. “It all starts with premium leather, but with Tiempo Legend 7, we’ve integrated Nike Flyknit for a more dynamic fit and improved lockdown,” says Nike Football Designer Vianney de Montgolfier.

For the first time ever the typically always, all leather Tiempo has been given an integration of Flyknit. The result means an enhanced fit and a boot 22% lighter than its predecessor. The Flyknit through the midfoot encases Flywire cables that can be adjusted to preference for maximum and customized comfort.  Flexible, lofted Flyknit throughout the tongue area helps provide cushioned coverage atop the foot. Flyknit also helps the boot sustain its overall shape. With Fit-Mesh providing stability, Nike employed a classically soft and seamless leather throughout the forefoot. The leather is fused with a thin foam that provides the touch and control benefits of quilting sans perforation.

More stunning new tech comes via the Nike Hyperstability plate, which is designed for multi-directional movements and helped shave an extra 60 grams off the boot. The plate features a mixture of jagged conical studs, chevrons, and blades. As with all Nike Football boots, the precise traction pattern was refined through Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Wrapping up the new boot is revamped Tiempo logo which bleeds a more modern aesthetic.

The Nike Tiempo Legend 7 will be available at select retailers like Niky’s Sports and Nike.com
