The Naija kits took the world by storm today and rightfully so. We’ve said our peace on them and turn our attention to other inspiring gems from the beautiful game. This week sees Nivelcrack drop their Red Devils collection, while the Football Gal shows off her brilliant embroidery work on a throwback Arsenal kit. Puma follow the wave by dropping a lifestyle look-book for the new Italy kits, Trevor Noah visits Kiev for the UCL Final and Usain Bolt trains in the new Puma “Illuminate” pack for a training session in Norway.
One of my favorite things about this weekly feature is seeing new cultures collide with our beloved beautiful game. Seeing brands like Louis Vuitton create a soccer ball holder for the World Cup makes us all warm and fuzzy inside. We also heavily endorse Kobe Bryant flipping through a World Cup Panini mag and a cheeky illustration of Atletico Madrid players riding Fortnite parachutes to the Europa League trophy. Without further explinations it’s time for another edition of This Weeks Instgram Best 11…
It’s been a busy week with brands prepping for the World Cup which is just 9 months away. From kits to the new official match ball Instagram has been on fire with images of all the latest drops as well as some other gems including scenes from MLS Playoffs and artwork. From Bleacher Report Football to our homies at Tens Club, here is our #BestOfBothWorlds Instagram posts of the week.

On the eve of the latest official match ball, the good people at Mundial Mag give a brilliant timeline portrait of it’s lineage. From Tango to Brazuka, the evolution is jaw dropping. Which one is your favorite?
adidas kicked off the launch of the Official World Cup Match Ball in style. Pusha T was on hand for a performance to introduce the world to the Telstar 18.

Bleacher Report pays homage to the newly retired Italian icon Andrea Pirlo. The oil painting vibes perfectly portray the artistry of the maestro and his country.
Versus show us the latest Swedish National Team kit by adidas. The team has an uphill battle towards the World Cup as they face Italy in a playoff. At least the boys from Scandinavia will be looking fly win or lose.

Puma gives us another fire kit, for another one of Africa’s giants. The Ivory Coast are set for World Cup playoff and just like the Swedes above, they’re slated to look fresh either way.

Whenever media converges from all over the world to an event for a launch or big game, it’s always cool to see the carrying perspectives. Here we see Kaka having a chat post retirement.
This week is super kit heavy but for good reason. Our friends over at @thisfangirl show off the latest World Cup strip for the Colombian National Team.
It’s been a few weeks off from our #Bestofbothworlds IG feature, but we’re back at it again.
