DETAILS CHICAGO: NICE KICKS X ANGELUS DIRECT X KTTP

Last week a few of our crew traveled to Chicago for MLS All Star. We set out to create two uniquely fresh activations amidst the chaos and that we did. For our second event we teamed up with Nice Kicks, Heineken and Angelus for a gallery space built around our reoccurring  Details feature. We enlisted three customizers @walllychamp15, @dejesuscustomfootwear and @truebluecustoms to create custom Nike Tiempo’s inspired by Sergio Ramos. From the his notorious celebratory matador’s cape, to his tattoos and World Cup, each set of boots brilliantly captured the essence of the Spanish Captain.

The space served as a timeline, from mock up inspiration and inception all the way to final product. @dejesuscustomfootwear was on deck for a live custom job as created some Heineken Tiempo’s. For a full rundown of the entire soiree have a look at the photo recap below.

KICKS TO THE PITCH X MITCHELL & NESS 23 CHICAGO

The concept is simple take, call on 23 influencers from various walks of life, sit them down at a dinner table and open up a dialogue about the beautiful game. First there was Vegas, then Paris and just this past Monday, we hit Chicago for MLS All Star.

In conjunction with Mitchell & Ness, Jason Markk and Heineken, we hosted a dinner graced by the likes of Heath Pearce, Chicago Fire players, representatives, from Nike, Real Madrid, adidas, Instagram as well as several local Chicago influencers from the worlds of music and art. The conversation jumped from the explosion of soccer kits as fashion, to the influence of social media and the blending of cultures all within the beautiful game. Life-long soccer fans/influencers chopped it up with casual fans/newcomers, which created a uniquely fun and intimate dialogue about our beloved game. Check out our photo recap of the space and experience below. Also make sure to keep it locked for a video recap.

CUSTOM TIEMPOS INSPIRED BY SERGIO RAMOS

They say “the devil is in the details,” and for us when it comes to fresh or rare footy gear we agree. Our up close and personal details feature serves to shed light on uniqueness and quality, it has always been a cornerstone of what we do at KTTP. It was with all this in mind that we decided to head to Chicago for MLS All Star and build an activation steeped in the details of one of the world’s most decorated soccer players, Sergio Ramos.

We asked three customizers to have a look at Sergio Ramos’ life, from the countless trophies to the tattoos and everything in between then go to town on a custom creation with the new Nike Tiempo Legend 7 as the canvas. @truebluecustoms, @dejesuscustomefootwear and @wallychamp were the artists tasked with the aforementioned. The results across the board were stellar, brilliant and uniquely Sergio Ramos.

Each pair of boots will on display at the center of a party in conjunction with Nice Kicks and Angelus on August 1st 12pm-6pm and August 2nd 12pm-4pm at 1858 W Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 60622. For more information see flyer below.

ADIDAS SOCCER & MAN UNITED LIGHT UP HOLLYWOOD

Straight from a 5-2 preseason shellacking of the LA Galaxy this past Saturday, Man United headed  to Hollywood for a glitzy soiree hosted by adidas Soccer. The Highlight room housed the rooftop shinning where the entire United squad rubbed elbows with the likes of Jamie Foxx, Emily Ratajowski, Desiigner, Nick Young and many more of tinsel town’s finest.

In keeping with adidas Soccer’s latest mantra “From stadium to street” many of the guests in attendance were also at the exhibition match. Later the crowd was treated to set from Bompton’s very own YG as well as DJ sets from ESTA and A$AP Lou.

“Only adidas can bring together such a star studded event. Clearly the focus for us is on football [soccer] with a busy schedule of games coming up but the event has given us a great opportunity to soak up being in LA and meet so many famous faces.” -Jesse Lindgard

PUMA STEP OUT LOS ANGELES

Yesterday PUMA unveiled the world’s biggest 3rd kit release ever. The concept is simple, tone down the color for a clean and classy vibe. From Guadalajara to Dortmund the several kits in PUMA’s stable were revealed across seven time zones. In honor of the massive release, PUMA hosted parties all over the globe including one in New York and one in Los Angeles.

Start Los Angeles provided the space which was built out to brilliantly to display the kits, with an obstacle course in back patio/parking lot, an EA Fifa station and plenty of room to mingle or grub tacos from Mapuche Food Truck. Also,  El Jimador and Green Flash slanged the booze while DJ episode slanged the tunes. The Instagram sensation/female freestyler extraordinaire that is Lisa Zimouche aka @lisafreestyle was on hand with several local street ballers. They rocked some exhibitions and helped attendees navigate through an obstacle course in which several prizes were up for grabs including tickets to a Chivas v Tigre’s match.

EA PLAY 2017 RECAP

Last wekend EA came to Hollywood for an all inclusive and engulfing video game experience. Attendees congregated at the iconic Palladium which was converted into various station in which they could play EA’s current, as well some of their yet to be released titles like highly anticipated Battlefront 2 and Fifa 18. As you’d expect with such massive games in their catalogue space was limited and lines were long. Thankfully there was other entertainment by way of a dj and special performances from the likes of Nas. Media were also treated to the theatre space for runs of the PC ports of each game as well as key note briefing’s about the upcoming titles. Various youtube gaming celebs were also on hand to take photos and mingle with fans. We briefly chopped it up with Chuboi and Batseson from Fifa fame.

Naturally we took the Fifa 18 line about 5 times to get a few runs of the new game. While there is still much to be released and we essentially played a demo, the game felt smooth and crisp. We will have a much more in depth review along with more content in the weeks to come as Fifa 18 gets closer to launch.

NIKE EAST LOS PRESENTS NEYMAR JR LIVE

Last night Nike’s East LA community store played host to an incredible event centered around one of the world’s best, Neymar. The night kicked off with food, music and the ability to purchase limited Nike Neymar gear. Later on the Brazilian starlet would show up for the unveiling of a massive Neymar mural painted by fellow Brazilian and highly touted street artist, Eduardo Kobra. After the brief presentation Neymar would take part in a few kickabouts with some lucky local kids to finish off the glorious night.

ADIDAS NEMEZIZ LAUNCH: LONDON

As you can tell from our social media feeds and slew of content dropping over the past week, we’ve been busy. From Madrid, to Manchester and now to London, for the launch of the adidas Nemeziz. Last night the good people at adidas invited what seemed like hundreds of media, youtubers, freestylers and soccer provocateurs to a massive warehouse for a uniquely grandiose experience. The night started with a raucous introduction courtesy of a montage which briefly went over the tech of the new boot. The festivities commenced with a freestyle exhibition from the F2, a brief Q & A with Jesse Lindgard and Ander Herrera as they displayed their newly won Europa League title, then patrons were set free to walk around the various Nemeziz themed exhibits. Several media outlets were also  able to sit down with Jesse, Timo Werner of Red Bull Leipzig or Hake Çalhanoğlu for more in depth interviews. We had a nice sit down with Timo Werner, keep it locked for more on that in the near future. As you’d expect, there was free beer, wine, food and the night was fittingly capped off by a frenetic performance courtesy of the Panda man himself, Designer.
